Swapnil Bhutkar
Charge D'Affaire's

Swapnil Bhutkar is a 22-year-old student pursuing his MBA from the Mumbai University and is the Charge d' Affaires of the National Division at I.I.M.U.N. He loves taking leadership initiatives with Honesty and Integrity being his strong pursuit, he currently is overseeing 60+ National Chapters. Swapnil has travelled to 50 cities and 7 countries for the purpose of conducting workshops and executing conferences. Having been trained by India's top choreographers like Vaibhav Ghuge and Mudassar Khan, he is a professional dancer and has been a part of many troops who have participated in multiple dance reality shows. He was an important part of the student council wherein he chaired, organised and participated in multiple Model UN and round square conferences. In a nutshell, he enjoys putting together such conferences and providing this platform to the youth, meeting & interacting with new people and being a mentor to his team members.

Prashant Nagpal
Charge D'Affaire's

Prashant has been working with the organisation since early 2015. He did his schooling from Campion School, Mumbai, completed his graduation from H.R. College of Commerce & Economics and is currently in pursuit of his Masters Degree. Apart from his valuable contributions to IIMUN in conferences pan India & Internationally, he is a fitness fanatic and enjoys working out at the gym, swimming and playing squash and has won several medals & trophies for them. An ardent cricket fan and 'melomaniac', Prashant enjoys watching cricket and music at all times. Despite having a rigid & professional outlook towards his work and methods, he is a very friendly person and is immensely fond of IIMUN, everyone in it and everything it stands for.

Priyank Vasani
Honorary Vice-President

Priyank Vasani is a 22 year old BMS graduate from Lala Lajpatrai College, Mumbai, and is currently pursuing Law from Mumbai University. He likes being consistent with his work, achieving new milestones and embracing challenges to further carry them out in an organized and meticulous manner. He is extremely passionate about cricket, politics and national affairs. He has headed one of the major departments at the famous Tsunami festival in Mumbai. He is one of the person responsible for association with renowned and highly decorated Indian politicians who support and back the accomplishments of IIMUN. He has organized and headed various IIMUN conferences in India and Abroad. Therefore, his style of leadership is to lead by example and its a pleasure to have him as the Sr. Vice President of IIMUN.

Abhishek Dhawan
Senior Vice-President

Abhishek Dhawan, 24 years of age, has completed his masters from one of the reputed colleges in South Mumbai associated with Mumbai University. Having worked with I.I.M.U.N. for over 5 years & counting, he is known for multitasking in the organisation and considered as one of the most humble persons you will ever interact with. He has won several awards for academic proficiency in school as well as at college level. A true believer of hard work and perseverance, he possesses unmatched levels of passion for his work. Nothing drives him more than enlightening young minds through the medium of MUN conference- something I.I.M.U.N. as an organisation constantly strives to achieve. Apart from that, there is one other thing that drives him- Food. Being a foodie, he loves to try out new dishes/cuisines at restaurants in his hometown and across the country- this love for food has also found him running a micro food page/blog on social media.

Rishi Jain
Vice-President

Rishi Jain, has an experience of over a decade in MUNing and currently he heads the Substance Department at I.I.M.U.N. He is the youngest Vice-President and a Core Council Member of I.I.M.U.N. Being a non-conformist, he is someone who loves to argue and put his thoughts forward in a scrupulous manner. He is quintessentially a good listener. He has organised and won many debates', elocution's, discussions and various other competitions besides being a head of various clubs. He is also a squash and a swimming enthusiast and has headed the Sports Committee in his College. According to him, life is an empty encyclopaedia which needs to be filled by gaining knowledge from various areas which explains his curiosity and desire to question. He loves reading and is a bibliophile who prefers to keep himself occupied with various sources of learning new things. He believes in knowing what all he doesn't want, before deciding what he does.

Anjani Raipat
Chief of Staff

This 21 year young is a budding lawyer at India's finest and the oldest law college. While pursuing her inclination towards Human Rights and Intellectual Property Rights, she serves as the Under-Secretary -General at IIMUN. She has interned at various places ranging from reputed law firms to big Media houses alongside heading the Quality Control at Indian International MUN. Having chaired several Model United Nation Conferences throughout the country and abroad, she considers interacting and learning from young minds as her favourite part at IIMUN. Having grown up in a small town, she is extremely passionate about ensuring exposure and education for all in every nook and corner of the country. She is also heading the NGO 'Taking India Forward Foundation' to do her bit for the society.

Akhilesh Jaykrishnan
Senior Director

True, to the organisations' ethos of making India a cultural powerhouse so that the next generation of world leaders would be familiar with our country, Akhilesh has at the tender age of 18 already single-handedly put together conferences in Nepal, Egypt and Uruguay. This has led to his meteoric rise from just another intern to now the youngest deputy head the International Department of I.I.M.U.N. has seen. Having worked to spread the idea of India in different countries, the part about this boy that enamours the most isn’t his dereliction to his duties or the honesty with which he works, but the insatiable thirst for knowledge he possesses coupled with having his head on his shoulders and feet firmly planted on the ground.

Manas Kangutkar
Senior Director

Manas Kangutkar is a 19-year-old, pursuing Bachelors of Management Studies from Mumbai University. He has a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. He is skilled in business planning, business management, business analysis, event management and marketing. He is a good orator and a budding diplomat who is passionate about international relations and world politics. He has a special interest in social entrepreneurship and loves taking leadership initiatives. Besides being a good listener, he is approachable at all points of time and is a very friendly person. Having chaired several MUN conferences throughout the country and abroad, he considers interacting and learning from young minds as his favourite part at I.I.M.U.N. He feels educating these young minds about national, international and local issues is fundamental to the overall holistic development of an individual. He is consistently inspiring people to work towards becoming glocal citizens. According to him, hard work is the only key to success and success doesn't come and find you, one has to go out and work hard to get it.
